Kumar Sankaran is the Associate Vice President of Software and Platform Engineering at Applied Micro. He is responsible for the software architecture and development and platform engineering for the X-Gene family of products from Applied Micro. In addition, he handles the software eco-system development and promotion within the ARM64 community. Kumar has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Marketing/Finance. He joined Applied Micro in 2010.
